Children's Ministry

First Baptist Fort Valley's Children's Ministries offer a wholesome environment where children from this church and the surrounding community learn about God, His Word, and how to please Him in their lives. Both our Sunday and Wednesday activities include interactive and enjoyable ministries for children.

Sunday School: Our curriculum helps all ages study the Bible in a meaningful and relevant way with material geared for their specific generation. Studies offer a comprehensive sequenced and balanced approach to biblical teaching. Teaching and learning activities lead class member to the Bible to find application for daily Christian living. Help for finding real answers to everyday questions are written into each week's study. During the 9:30 a.m. Sunday school hour, children are involved in Bible Study, learn Bible verses, learn books of the Bible and enjoy bible games and quizzes

Nursery: Our lovingly-staffed and well-equipped nurseries accommodate children from birth to age 3 during all of our services. Our clean and safe nurseries allow parents to concentrate on their worship experience without having to worry about the well-being of their children.

Children’s Church:  Children in pre-school through second grade meet with adults in worship until offertory then have their own worship time with Bible study, games and crafts during the 9am & 11am Worship Service. Skilled teachers bring lessons from God’s Word with the goal of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching children how to live a Godly life.

Children's Choir: The children of our church perform as a choir for special occasions during the year. This ministry gives children a unique opportunity to gain a love for singing and praising the Lord through song.

Special Activities: At First Baptist Fort Valley we plan numerous special events throughout the year including ice skating, an Easter egg hunt, summer camp, fall festival and baking cookies and caroling at Christmas.
