We are glad you have visited our website and we hope you will come visit us. At First Baptist Church, we are thrilled to have guests in our service. As soon as you walk through the doors, we believe you will find what so many people love about First Baptist Church -- a down-to-earth and genuinely friendly atmosphere. During our services you can expect to enjoy clear, God-honoring music and inspired practical preaching.

Don't worry about where you are in your spiritual journey ... or for that matter, what you have to wear! Just come as you are. Whether you are just beginning to search for some answers in life, have known God in the past but shut him out some time ago or you've had an ongoing relationship with Jesus for 60-plus years, we're here to help you know God better and experience Him more.

While we never apologize for encouraging people to dress their best for church, you will find people from all walks of life and backgrounds who feel very much at home at First Baptist Church. The majority of our regular attendees dress casually while some wear more traditional church clothes. You’ll see people of all ages wearing suits and dresses as well as khakis and slacks. While we do believe that an important part of worship is giving our best to God, we also believe the biblical truth that “man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

We realize that walking into a church building for the first time can be an overwhelming experience, to help you feel more at home, we want to let you know what you may experience here at First Baptist.

We have Sunday morning services at 9:00 and 11:00. The first service is our traditional service and the second is our contemporary service, led by our praise band. Our Sunday morning services are 60-70 minutes long.

We have plenty of parking in our parking lots and street side, so find a spot and come on in. Bring the little ones. Our nurseries are clean, safe, free and staffed by loving church members.

We do not single out our guests in our services. We will not ask you to stand, stay seated, wear a sticker or anything else that may cause you to be uncomfortable.

Our pastor's sermons are guided by the Word of the Lord and touch on subjects relevant to our times and our society. The Bible is an integral part of our services and we include Bible verses to hear what God has to say to us today.  You may sample sermons from First Baptist here.

Our music is passionate and heartfelt, highlighted by our choirs, our praise bands and accompaniment of our pianist and organist. We sing from the Baptist Hymnal and choose songs you know and love.

You will never be pressured to join our church or give money. You are our guest and we’re so glad you’ve decided to visit us! We know coming to a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We want you to feel at home. There is a place for everyone in your family and worship options that fit your preference.
